Sad pains?!

Question: has anyone experienced actual pain from sadness? i know this sounds weird but no one can relate to me! i sometimes have really depressed times where i just want to be gone and i would never take my life but when i think about something like "nobody even likes me" i get this tightening and aching pain kind of below my neck and it doesnt really "hurt" but it like emotionally hurts and its just weird! does anyone else get this? and can you explain how it feels for you and why?

Yes, we all get these pains when we are disappointed and lonely. Some people get it in the stomach while for others it feels as if electric currents go through your whole body. It's psychosomatic pain caused by being lonely and rejected.

when i used to suffer from depression i would get terrible head aches until i was put on medication for a period of time and i coped with my problems. i recommend that you see a shrink its not for everyone but it certainly may help

Huh, it is called stress. People carry stress though different parts of their body. Personally I carry mine in my upper back. However, remember your mind has a powerful role on your body. If you think something will hurt, then it will hurt. I would advise you see a councler to talk about how you feel and try to think positive. Also at a young age life is really difficult, however it gets so much easier and funner as you grow up. Just remember to keep you mind positive and do good in school! Good luck

Yeah definatly! havent we all cried so much it gave us a stomach ache? its definatly from stress i believe WebMD.com has a pretty good run down on stress and physical pain linking to it ...hope this helps
