Most people get the soul mixed up with the spirit. Also many times people use the two interchangably. Speaking from a Biblical point of view a human being is made up of a soul, a spirit and a body.
The spirit is that kind of ghosty thing that is the real you. Your soul is your emotions and feelings. And of coarse your body is your physically body.
Now when it comes to selling your soul, in reality what that refers to is your spirit. The Bible is clear that when a person dies, they either go straight to heaven or hell. So if you had sold your soul(spirit) and it was gone from your body, you would no longer be living.
Therefore, you can know that you still have your soul/spirit, because you are still alive.

its gone when u die!clean your soul by getting rid of negative thoughts and actions and by righting all the wrong u have done to others.cry.keep a journal,write in it every night about what u are grateful for.listen to loud music,pet an animal and then u will have a cleansed soul.oh yeah,eat alot of toaster strudels.

I clean my soul by going dirt bike riding or fly fishing. If your soul is gone you might as well be dead.
