no it is not addictive.....and there is a plethora of medical research to support this fact.......even in people with addictave personalities, there is no "physical" addiction....you aren't going into sweats, shakes and delirious behaivor worrying about when you're going to find more are you? didn't think so.....what you are feeling is a compulsion to DO it, not an addiction TO it.......

don't worry, they'll score soon enough and then you'll be back to your mellow happy self

if 11 days is all it's been then you're doing good....this time of year we run out around here for a month or more before things start to get better

For someone who has an addictive personality, perhaps.

Pot, as it is, is not an addictive substance.

it's good, but not addictive

Mentally addictive, yes. Physically addictive, no.

of courseit is a drug ,even ciggs, are additive your body has built up atolernce for it and now you need it .i would consider rehab

It's rarely physically addictive, but frequently psychologically addictive, depending on the person.

yes it is and it causes PSYCHOSIS

DRUG Dealer lied to me as if it was safe
i will make him handicap

Yeah pot is addicting.
But I think your missing it like a fat kid loves cake.
that kinda way :]

But I think you should stop.
or your on the verge of getting addicted.

YES it is, best advice for you is try holding out for a month and you wont think of it at all.

I smoked a long time and just quit because it's not addictive at all. (many years ago) I think you could be missing the good times more than the actual drug.

Mentally: very much so. Physically: not at all.

I think the tobacco is the addictive part. Not the pot.

dude its not really if u think of it just get a g/f or hobby, and do those things u miss......or there r other drugs l=)

I don't think it is addictive at all, it is all in your head. Good stuff though, I hate running out!!!!

Yes it is. Most people say it's not but i've been a smoker since I was 13 and I quit a month ago and it was hard. It does not have a hold on you like the other heavier drugs but you definitely fiend for it and even go through some changes for it. You never stop missing it because it is a wonderful drug but as time goes on you miss it less. Why the hell do we stand by and let them make weed illegal but let cigarettes legal and they kill millions a day. Weed has it's down spots but it's wonderful and safer than cigarettes and alcohol

ummm yep and it's good too!

I do not believe that is addicting.
I believe that some people just do not really want to stop.

of course it is and it causes big prob if used reg, it causes twice the rate of lung cancer as tobacco. it is meant to smoke only occassionaly, not very day.

You REALLY have to ask??

You just answered your Own question here, you're even dreaming about it. That alone is a sign that your body and Mind are craving for it.

If you have managed to stay clear for 11 days, that's a great step in the right direction.

Think of How Much Money you safe every month. You could go on a nice holiday to somewhere where it's much cheaper. Oooops, that wasn't the question ;)

I'm sure you know all the advantages and disadvantages of smoking pot. All I want to say is, the longer you smoke it the harder it becomes to kick the habit.

Good luck with staying clean :)

Yes I beleive it is.
I had to go to a detox clinic after smoking it for 15 years.
The hardest part is learning how to cope with feelings after pushing them away with pot for so long.

Pot is not physically addictive, meaning you will not have physical withdrawal symptoms when you stop using it, like you would with crack or heroin for example.

But it is psychologically addictive and is habit-forming. If you have been using for a few months, every day, then it is more likely a habit, and something that has become a daily part of your life. If you want to stop, find something else to replace smoking.

When I was younger, I smoked it for about 10 years, every day, and when I knew I wanted to stop, I just stopped. I didn't miss it because deep down I knew I didn't want it anymore. If you find it difficult to stop, it probably means there is some part of you that still wants to smoke.

I had the same experience as Heyyou. I smoked all the time then quit and it was easy. It is not physically addicting like cigarettes. Quitting those is much harder believe me.

sorry mate but in one way or another it is addictive.i love it too dont like the way it takes my money, makes me tired all the time and makes me unsociable but that dosnt stop me from pullin out the bong every two minutes.my advise if its been 11 days keep goin until u hit 3 months.then if u want do it at partys and on occasions dont let it ruin your life like it has mine.

lol ya, once u smoke one ur hooked. it has nicotine, which makes you addicted. lol you shouldnt do it, its really bad...but millions of people do it. Lol my high school is packed with stoners..well try not to do it as much, its bad for your health.

there are 3 components to addiction, physical, mental, and spiritual. while pot is not physically addictive-you are experiencing at least manifestations of mental addiction.
