Cutting out woman's body parts from magazines normal?!
Question: i have a friend i am a little worried about. i am not certain, but i thought it was a sign of an eating disorder, but let me know what you think. she goes through magazines and cuts out parts of women's bodies in the magazine that she wants to look like and plasters the wall with them. sometimes it's just the body without the head. she eats food, and all of that seems normal. the pictures just seemed a little disturbing. the only other sign i can figure is that she exercises a lot. what does everyone else make of this?

this is something you should ask about. it sounds like poor body image which isn't that far from other eating disorders. you need to talk about it and ask her. if that seems to push to far make sure you tell her nice things about her. like hey i like your hair, or I'm totally jealous of your body or legs. try not to make it awkward but say it sincerely

maybe shes exercising becuz she has a secret lesbian lover that she wants to look good for...
and if she;s a lesbian the pics of women are self-explanatory lol...
I do the same thing, most of the time its because i really admire that person or something like that, all my friends find it strange as well.. :/ I really dont know what it is.
Can you say, "It puts the lotion on the skin"?
I'm not a woman, but it does seem like odd behaviour. Have you tried gently asking her why she does it?
Does she seem obsessed in any way? It's really not a terrible thang ta do. But if her eating habits change, well..........

Either she's becoming obsessed, or she does that to have a visual goal to shoot for. If it's a frequent event, then its probably the former. Talk to her if your worried. I wish both of you luck. (Though why she needs luck I'm not sure.)
