Getting Induced?!
Question: I am 7 days overdue and getting induced in 3 days if the baby doesn't come before then. (which I don't think she will).
I was so excited for everything to happen naturally and most of all, I wanted everything to happen earlier, only to catch me off guard. Now that my date has come and gone. I haven't been able to sleep. The anxiety of knowing what is to come at 7 am on teusday is driving me insane. I know I won't sleep the whole night before and I am afraid I am going to be way too exhausted to be effective in labor. I find myself awake all night reading about what to expect. Did anyone else go crazy waiting to be induced? Just want to hear the experiences of others' in this situation.

I was 7 days overdue with my daughter and was induced a couple of days later. I didn't really dwell on it to tell you the truth. I guess I was just happy to get the ball rolling as I was feeling quite overstretched (my tummy was getting a rash).
Me and my husband were both quite disappointed that I didn't have to do the whole phone call to his workplace and the mad car drive to the hospital but some things are just not meant to be.
Don't worry about the induction - it's really nothing to worry about. The best bit is it gets things moving. You are unlikely to have a 3 day labour or something!
