Don't resist. By resisting, we give people the ability to hurt us. Just let it be. Let them carry on.
Remain alert. Be careful about being drawn into an argument. Be alert enough to avoid arguments.
Save yourself now and stick them in a mental institution. Leave them to the state so you don't have to pay.
Call 911 the next time he comes threatening; tell police to get him to a hospital. Don't they have MDs or therapists?
Call a hospital near you and ask for their Crisis Outreach Team. Find out how they work so that when something happens, you'll be prepared & know what to do.
You can't fix them. Get yourself into therapy so you have someone on your side.
