I hate school I never want to go back?!

Question: I hate everything about high school. I never want to go back. I don't care about school. I hate math and I'm failing. I'm just tired of all the stress. I try and pay attention it's just so boring to me. What should I do? I want to leave so bad.

Wow...you're exactly like I was. I even struggled very much in math. I'm now in my first year of college, but I hated high school. Now, looking back, I can see what a weird time high school was. Just know that it's such a short little blip in your life, (but i'm sorry to say that its pretty much a necessary step), and that there's a bigger, better world ahead. College is amazing. There's SO much less stress.

But as for wanting to leave high school, I would really advise against that. If you quit now, you'll never finish, and in turn never make it to college. College is not only so fun, but its a hugely important step to landing your dream job, and creating the life you want for yourself. So stick it just a little longer...it'll be over before you know it.

What do you think you are going to do if you leave school? End up in some dead end job? Stay in school and try to make the best of it.

Well, I'd say to stay in school, maybe if it's just math you can find a way to take another course next year. Also, try to have a tutor help you out, sometimes someone the same age as yourself can make you understand better then a teacher.Just don't give up. But i mean if that still doesn't work, you could get a GED, since some colleges will let you study even without a high school diploma and just a GED.

how old are you number one and number two stay in school i kno at points your probably like oh hell i cant deal with this but in the long run you will be great full you stayed there and toughed it out if you really find that you cant deal with it take some breaks between like if your finding the class way to streesful ask if you can go to the bathroom and calm down take a walk around the school then go back to class or skip but not everyday but yea stay in school no matter what... msg me or add me i would love to talk to you further on this ... because i share some what of the same idea as u i want to leave but at the same time no one will take you seriously in the world as a career except for mcdonalds so yea msg me or something

I used to think like you when I was younger and dropped out of college. My biggest regret was never finishing school, even though I have a decent job now I could be doing so much better finacially.

You need to get a tutor in math, someone to help you pass the class. Your parents can pay for it, or maybe a classmate can help you. There's also math websites that might be able to help you understand math better.

Listen, you need to graduate high school. If you drop out, you'll be working at McDonald's the rest of your life.
High school sucks, yes, I hated high school myself. But it's a necessary evil to becoming an adult.

dude... ur outta luck... get a tutor??

Well im homeschooled and i get to learn what i want to learn so maybe try to get your parents to look into small privet school or maybe they could homeschool you

me too....you just have to realize that leaving is not an option and keep going....It's terrible I know but we have to deal with it...

No one needs to fail school . When learning conditions are stressful use the American way. . . Home school. You cant do worse and the social thing will solve itself. You don't need to die for high school people. Call up all the students who are now in home school . There is planning to do etc.

You need to get motivated....

Ask for some help after or before school.

Your decision now will decide what your life will be like in the future. Don't give up. Stick it out and graduate....and then go from there.
