Question: About the 17 year old girl that is depressed by her eye colour? well the question has been removed. Gee people have real problems out there that are more serious than worring about your eye colour don't you think?

Thank You, couldn't have said it better myself.

I'd say that this 'question' is more pointless than the depression because of eye color one. You're not even asking a question, you're telling us your opinion on something.
What a hypocritical thing to say...
Next time I want to know what questions I never read have been removed on yahoo, I'll be sure to ask.

No, I didn't read that one. It is pretty pathetic though! I hope she manages to get a life soon!

When you say some people have more serious problems than worrying about eye color, people also have more problems than worrying about which questions have been removed or not. You posting this is pretty childish. Reminds me of middle school when people picked on each other for stupid things just so they looked better...

its amazing what little things can bug you if people comment on it the whole time .. don't forget you maybe don't know what kinda life she actually has .. you can be too hard on people, not realising half of what they go thru

I think you need to understand the nature of a clinical depression in order to understand this girl's feelings. In fact it is unlikely her depression is anything to do with her eye colour, genuine clinical depressions are as a result of chemical inbalances in the brain. Sufferers tend to fixate on something which they convince themselves is the cause of that depression. If she could, by some means change the colour of her eyes, she would quickly fixate on something else. Unfortunately sufferers also perceive their state of mind to be perfectly normal, reasonable and understandable, if only the rest of the world could see things from their point of view. Their anxiety is often exaccibated by the fact that the rest of the world can't seem to see it and they feel further isolated and therefore even more depressed.

Never try and apply logic to a sufferer's concerns, it won't work. Just accept that's how they feel.
