Question: A friend of mine has been on paxil for some time now. She procrastinated about calling in her perscription and was out over the weekend. During that time she was very ill or aggervated. What are the side effects of coming off Paxil?

The withdrawal effects of Paxil are perhaps the worst of any SSRI type drug. Even the FDA put out a message about this problem.

omg...paxil is the worst one to come off of and in fact stopping cold turkey can be very dangerous.she needs to get her refill asap or she will continue to be sick
my doc reduced my dose when i was coming off of it and i was perfectly fine. She definitely shouldn't quit cold turkey. Paxil was a life saver for me.
