What was wrong with me?!

Question: This hasn't happened for a while, but it seems to happen when I'm having problems in my life, like general stress or anxiety, but when I go to sleep I cant close my eyes because suddenly my head is filled with, what I can only describe as visions of torture, just random people having bits ripped off or things gouged out or sliced up, like terrible things I didnt think I could think up if I tried, so its hard to close my eyes and sleep, and I get weird obsessive compulsive habits, like I cant sleep with anything long or pointy in the bedroom (in case I like fall on it or someone breaks in and stabs me with) and I have to go around the house collecting knives or possible weapons and hiding them somewhere, which is obviously annoying for me and my family...why does my brain behave like that?

First of all you use the word wrong. I don't think there is anything wrong with you. But I would advise you to seek some professional help to find out what is the basis of your disorder. Maybe after a good diagnosis buy a Doctor or Psychologist would point you in the direction that can help. Please seek some help. You are not damaged or wrong. You just might have some mental illness that is very stigmatized in this country, or I should say the world.

I want you to go tothis site, they can help you out: http://psychcentral.com/

too much tv try not watching tv for at least 30 minutes before sleeping

you probably have an anxiety disorder. go get it checked out.before you go to bed read a book or something and if you think those things just recall what you have just read

It's a mental side effect of extreme anxiety. You need to seek help, whether medical, psychiatric, or a combination of both. You will be amazed at the relief this will bring, although it won't happen overnight. My own suggestion is to start with a medical doctor because he/she can prescribe anti-anxiety medication and also refer you to a therapist. The meds will bring quicker relief and the therapist will help you find ways to alleviate the anxiety on your own.

Just consult a psycologist this will be good for U they may help U to come out of the Problem because some fear has covered U in U inner brain that U cant understood that just go to a psycologist it was good.

I also have panic attacks right before bed. Mine are more or less about people breaking in. I get very upset, cant sleep, constantly staring at the bedroom door thinking and thinking again about what I would do if someone broke in. I know this has been going on since I was a child. Not too sure why because no one has ever broken in. lol. When I do fall asleep I eventually dream about it too. My fiance got a bayonett and he put it on the dresser. I told him to put it up in the closet.."do you want to leave a weapon lying around for someone to kill us with". This is more or less just saying this happens to me too. I am not sure how to fix the problem because I have never be able to fix it. If you find any help please let me know.

maybe you have special powers. You should also consult a doctor.

I will give you one of Jesus story from the Bible and think of it.

Mark 5 Just as Jesus climbing from the boat, a man possessed by an EVIL SPIRIT ran out from a cemetery to meet him. This man LIVED among the tombs and could not be restrained, even with a chain. Whenever he was put into chains and shackles- as he often was he snapped the chains from his wrists and smashed the shackles. No one was strong enough to control him. all day long and throughout the night, he would wander among the tombs and in the hills, screaming and hitting himsefl.

Q. Is anyone would like to live in the cemetery? or hitting himself? of course no one. but why he can do it? the above sentence says, he is possessed by evil spirit". i believe this man does'nt want to but someone strong commanding him to do it.

And the Bible said: When Jesus was still some distance away, the man saw him. he ran to meet Jesus and fell down before him. He gave a terrible scream, shrieking, " Why are you bothering me, Jesus, son of the Most High God? For God's sake, don't torture me!" For Jesus had already said to the spirit, Come out of the man, you evil spirit."

Also the Bible said: John 10:10 The thief's (Satan) purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. ( that is Satan's job) My purpose is to give life in all its fulness. (Jesus job is to deliver us from bondage)

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrew 13: 8

I advice you to ask God to lead you to the right Christian church (not catholic but Christian, they are different) to be pray and to cast out that demons who are trying to steal, kill, and destroy you.
