Try foundation. When i went into the military a few years back i didn't want them to know so i used it. They didn't notice them so i guess it worked...other than that there's not much else you can do...sorry, i feel your pain

Wow Ive never met anyone else that cuts there. I do that too, and I model and I had a photo shoot with them once it was horrible I had to convince myself to stop for a while. Well first of all, it depends on how old you are, but a doctor wont do anything without your permission, so if he notices dont worry. You can wear longer underwear (the short-like kind) but thats all I got for you. And try to keep from doing anything for the next week and a half. good luck.

There's gold bond or something. It's this brand of medicine. And there's one for scars. You could use that, and hopefully it'll be gone in a week/less.

scars tells secrets. well, depends on the scar, I have some that well people can tell I didn't do, but the scar that is going to be left anyway... I tripped and fell on a plastic filing box, and cut myself up pretty good, on my arm, and my behind.... the arms are in a way that you can tell I didn't cut, and the ones on the behind are just don't ones someone can cut.... But you could have fell some way to caused them....

Scarfade is a creme you can buy that will lighten your newer scars more rapidly than natural healing--this takes more time than a week so you probably should start this on a 'just in case' basis for the future.

I used foundation to cover scars on my arms in the past and this worked fairly well. You can always say you were bathing your cat in the tub and it scratched you up on o you thighs. True story-cat opened up a vein on a woman who sat in the tub and held her cat between her legs to bath it.

The more you try to hide them the more guilty you will look, and the more a doctor will get the impression that maybe the cutting is still an ongoing struggle for you and you need help with it. I have a lot of scars from cutting and burning and I just try to be relaxed and when (and they will) the doctor asks about them, I am completely honest..... They are from the past, I have it under control now...
I don't think there are any ways to cover up the scars completely.

you poor poor thing. I don't even know...maybe cover up or a tan in the can type deal might wqork...i suppose it couldn't hurt. Maybe you can just tell your doctor the truth and that way they are not surprised. If you do tell your doctor be prepared to get a lecture but you MUST tell your doctor that you do not want him to tell anyone especially your parents then they have to keep it a secret. patient privacy is a big thing and even if you are a minor they can not violate that. I think that when you get the nerve you need to tell your parents also. I think it would be good to have someone to confide in when you need help. Maybe a counciler. do not tell a freind at school because if you get into a fight they may tell your secret to all. I am so sorry for you and wish I could help. I know I don't know you at all but if you ever need to talk you can e-mail me at hbc832001@yahoo.com sometimes it just helps to have someone to talk to. Good Luck!!!
