its called putting things off, its really hard not to put things off!

try completely clearing your place of study, i.e not shoes dirty underwear, plates or whatever else could possible there,

turn everything electric off, i.e cd player, computer, t.v, maybe have the radio on but don't keep turning it over to different stations. get a nice big glass of juice or water and give yourself a break every 2hours,

Divide the material into blocks. Finish one block, then take a small break and move on to the next. I can't study for 30 mins continuously. So I read for 15 mins, then take a 5 min break and get back to reading. That way , I'll still be able to cover the topics and learn whatever I'm reading.

You can lie down on your bed and close your eyes, or listen to a song, talk to someone, do some light exercises...anything that will relax you and keep you fresh.

As said, it's good to take breaks - but to keep me focussed on studying that day I make the break be related to the studying in some way. Maybe a 5 min visualisation of me successfully sitting the exam. That both gives me a break and mentally prepares me to have a positive attitude the day of the exam. And helps me remember why I need to study that day and not put it off.

Good luck!
