Ive tried and tried and still a no go, however yes i did hear that chantix did work rather well, but all that stuff isnt for everybody...try to find something to motivate you... I'm waiting to meet my "other" who doesnt smoke n i'll be done cuz i'll have that motivation..weird everybod's diff...start but atleast cutting back..drastically until you have a cpl a day and then just cold turkey?! IDK I sooo wish i could help but its something im srtruggeling with too!! ive been smoking sine i was like eh 9 1/2 er so. Minus three years i quit and im 20...it takes a tole after while...BEST OF LUCK TO YOU!!!! =D

Chantix works quite well

Chantix. I somked for 11 years and quit in 1 month on Chantix. No mood swings or anything like that. I highky reccomend it.

I'm in the same boat with manic depression and anxiety and I also smoked because the stress just gets to me. I went on Chantix and it worked wonders. Check it out.

the Patch. no smoke just the nicotine. worked for me.

but sounds to me you havent quite commited yet. once you do, its much easier.

You have to want to stop and when you actually want to stop you will. It took me to the point where my chest hurt and I would look at my little girl and say I want to see you grow up.

I wish i could stop its soooo hard i guess you have to really really want to stop but the cravings arent suppost to be so bad after 2 weeks but well done on 3 days even one day is very hard for smokers

To start use a patch but because you hace OCD you mnay need it so bad because of the habit i sugesst by a box of straws cut them in half and when u feel like smoking use the straw. it may sound funny but it allows your self to think u are fufilling the habit while the patches are giving wht u need. Then slowly stop using the patches. Also whenever you feel like having a cigarette replace it with a different habit like drinking a lass of water every time you want a cigarette. SO if you usually wake up and smoke, wake up have a glass of water and us the straw.

i have 3 small children and i quit cold turkey. after the2 day it was so easy no i have been smoke free for 4 months

The patch or chantix. I know of peoplewho have had a lot of luck with both. You have to really want to quit too!

I gave up smoking 35yrs ago, its never to late to give up, when i first gave up i used to say to myself you've give for a day, you can give up for two days then a week and so on, also i use to say i can have i cigarette but i don't want one, the reason being if you try and deny something you will have a stronger urge to want it. I didn't use this but you could say with all the money i am saving through giving up smoking I'm going to buy myself something really nice......you can do it and when you do you will wonder why you ever smoked in the first place

chew on cocktail straws

it is never too late to quit. I tried a million times but wasn't mentally wanting to. You have to want to quit. My final smoke was May 6, 1996 at 10:00 p.m. I put it out put on a patch and was determined to quit. I wore the patch for two weeks cut it in half for about 1 week and then after a shower I forgot to put one on and I have never smoked since. when I felt kinda like I wanted one I would rub that patch to remind me! I would doodle while on the phone and always had a glass of water by me. I don't miss it, can't stand the smell my husband still smokes. And now the price for a pack is crazy my hubby's are like almost $5.00 a pack that's crazy!! Anyway, you can do it I don't have OCD or Bi-polar but I have high anxiety I take meds for and on a anti-depressant. If you went three days you already had the nicotine gone it's just the habit! You can do it take all the advice we have given you and don't let a cigarette run your life.
