What have I done to deserve this life?!

Question: I pray to God for help but each day seems worse than the last, I can't understand what I did to deserve this life when there are so many others who are seemingly living normal happy lives: found love, married young, 2 cars, 2.5 kids, mortgage, salaries in the Ks, vacations. I hope that challenge just means greater eventual reward - but the life I'm having I can't imagine what award would make up for this near incessant misery.

Well first off, you may be depressed. Considering that you don't want to share the details (and that's fine), I suggest at least speaking to a qualified counsilor or psychologist.

Second off, everybody has problems in their lives. Many of us have developed coping mechanisms to deal with them. If your mechanism doesn't work anymore, find another. God may grant miracles, but he rarely makes it obvious so you may have to do something to foster a change and then see what happens.

well for starters your wasting your time with talking to your imaginary friend god, spend soem time thinking and planning for yourself and the others around you instead of trying to live for this god character you speak of. without misery one can never know hapiness, so your in a rut, so you feel like crap, it will pass, everybody has bad days, weeks years even. also.. who says the house, car 2 kids and a dog is right for you, why do you strive for a norm, when you dont even know that is what you want out of life. just chill out, take a look at the big picture, consider yourself rich, riches will follow. be happy and happiness will follow, and lay off the bible thumping: its dated fear mongering that will get you deeper into your miserable hole

You know something. Life, all life, is not a bunch of roses. All of those couples you see, could be as miserable, if not more, than you. Everyone is presented with challenges. What counts is how you deal with them. I'm not just saying this. If I didn't believe it, why would I tell you?? Think of life as a challenge and conquer it. Don't live like this. I'm not gonna tell you to go see a therapist, psychiatrist, etc. That is a decision for you to make. However, make a thought-out decision. A good doctor is very beneficial for mental health issues.

u did nothing to deserve the life that u have. its not that bad, u need to know that u dont have the worst life possible. u should just be glad that u are alive. And its ok to not be normal i mean u could be better than normal but u just dont know it yet.

u have a great life u just havent found it yet so keep looking
good luck
