Why are people in dire need of Rehab, so afraid to go?!

Question: why are people in need of help (alcoholism/drug addiction) so fearful that others are trying to harm them, when in fact others just want to help them sober up and live healthy lives?

Because they are either high or drunk, (at least not completely sober) so they don't understand their life will improve if they get help.

Also, if they are drug/alcohol addicts, they often do not want to live in real life. They've created a nightmare, but at the same token, it's their own private world. They don't want to deal with real world problems, or the consequences of their actions.

Because, in most cases, they don't want to be helped from it, they want to go when they're ready, and/or they want to help themselves before anyone else can or does. They could also be so inthrobbed in their addiction, that they simply don't care.

Hope this makes sense.

Why?Maybe because Satan telling them that they don't need rehab.Satan wants to kill us all. Some let them control their lives and they give up.
