paxil works very well for social anxiety but you will most likely have the same problem with getting an erection.

You should ask your doctor about this. Some of these medicines have different effects on different people.

Research I've seen suggests Paxil is among the most effective but also has the greatest degree of side-effects, especially the sexual side effects.
Try looking into some of the newer medications such as Effexor XR or Welbutrin.
