if your body and mind is telling you not to take it DONT take it...no matter what medication it is...especially in mental health. if this was for an injury, i would say different. be sure to talk to your doctor about how you feel. if he won't listen to you, request a new doctor. good luck to you:)

Do the right thing.... wait for proper medical advice...from your Doctor!!
Not from this venue.

it takes the body several days, if not weeks to acclamate to a new medication. my suggestion...your doctor knows more than you, follow their advice until you can get ahold of them and dont drive or operate machinery until you do. You body is just getting adjusted to the new meds.

If you are seeing him tomorrow I would take the drugs and see how well you tolerate it. Some drugs you will get used to in a few days or a week and the side effects wont bother you . The XR indicates an extended release pill which should be swallowed since it will release the drug over a longer time period .
If you crushed it or chewed it you might have gotton a higher dose than planned .

You need to talk about dosage with your Doctor , posssibly start with a lower dose to keep side effects down , and gradually increase it over a few weeks.

The most common side effects with Lamictal are:
dizziness, ataxia (wobbliness), somnolence, headache, diplopia (double vision), blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, and rash. It is generally prescribed for epilepsy.
Be very careful about not taking the Seroquel, as discontinuation can cause bi-polar side effects. Feeling drowsy, especially when you first start taking it, or when your dosage changes, is one of the side effects. You might be able to take it at a different time of day, for example, get enough sleep each night, and have a routine bedtime and wake-up time, even on weekends
Avoid alcohol consumption
Keep alert by staying active and exercising during the day. A brisk walk is a good example
You might feel light-headed or dizzy, especially when you stand up from a lying position, when you start taking SEROQUEL or when your dosage changes. Here are some tips for dealing with that side effect:
Increase fluid intake
When getting up from lying down, take it easy. Relax for a minute, then slowly sit up before standing
Sleep with the head of your bed slight elevated
