Have you got a colosomy bag and if so how do you find it and cope?!
Question: My sister had an ileostomy for about 18 months. Obviously it's not a barrel of laughs but she led a normal life, going to college, uni, going out with mates, even went on a beach holiday (no bikini though!).
She was miserable about it at first and moped around at home but then as she realised she could do everything she used to and she started to get back to normal quick enough.
There's a really good forum, it's more specifically for ileostomists (is that a word?!) but I'm sure someone there could point you in the direction of a site for people with a colostomy if you have any questions.

Weird.
Bit of a bind really especially if you like curry.But one gets used to them. Sex is a bit of an embarrassment though.
I personally don't have but my nan does. Although she is frail and 90-odd etc. she no longer copes well with it. However in the early days of the her having (several decades) she found it incredibly easy.
I don't know much about them but I assume that you simply unattatch it empty and dispose of it then place a new one where the old one was.
