Help!! I think I'm suicidal......?!


Question: Okay, so I have been really stressed and over worked and loads of other things, and last night, through my anger, I wrote a fake suicide note. I never actually planned on killing myself, but it felt really good to wrote that letter. Also, I have considered cutting myself, but I always thought it would hurt too much. Please help me, I'm scared, but I'm still not sure if I'm suicidal. But please, I really need help, and I only have one friend I can really confide in.

It's hard when you feel you can't live up to your user name eh? I think you need to take a step back. Take a break and look around you. You are stressed out and I understand that. There are a lot of things attempting to converge at once in your life. Now, I'm just a stranger that read your letter but you need to find out what works for you. It sounds like writing helps you a little. Why don't you try writing down what is troubling you. All the things you need to take care of. It may not be a large list but that doesn't mean it can't be a few very large things! By writing it all down you may be able to deal with each thing one at a time. I'm sure there are plenty of people that would never want to see anything happen to you. and the last thing is the hardest of the advice I have for you; Let your friends help you

I have felt that way too, I always try to think of positive things or if I get to down I just go to bed. If you are still considering it you might want to call the suicide hotline. Here is the #: 1-800-SUICIDE (7842433)

You need to see a mental health professional. You are the only person who can "fix" yourself, if you want to, with the help of a skilled professional who addresses your needs.

There's a bumper sticker that says 'Don't always believe what you think.' We all get an array of thoughts in our heads many of which are not positive. Stress is not permanent. Try to relax even at work. Distract yourself with something you like doing.
Practice smiling.

Hi it sounds like you really need to see a counsellor. You need to discuss with someone what is making you feel this way. There is always a trigger to our low moods and thoughts of self harm, even if we don;t recognise it.
It would be helpful to think about how long you have felt this way?
What was happening in your life when this first started.
To solve a problem we have to look at it otherwise we can't solve it.

dont kill your self...
theres no point. you might think your in the worst possible place ever..., but life has a way of working things out.
trust me.
you should just say " screw it" to what ever is bothering you.
it isnt that important, if its making you feel like this.
life will go on, even if you dont think it will.
you should get do somthing to take your mind off of the thought.
go read some good books, go sing, anything you love.

I know exactly the feel'n, but think of it, if you do, life would go on, try to get some help- Do you have a close friend to talk with? I know it's such a tough situation , but try to think happy thoughts, try walking it off, I will pray for you, but please don't kill yourself- God Bless you-

your fake suicide note was more of a fantsy, your headed down a dark road...keep it up and you'll eventually follow thru with it.

go to your primary doctor and tell him. he will refer you to a psychiatrist. that way, your insurance will pay for your meetings.


I just read the part where you are in middle school. Here is what you do...tell your mom or dad

Writing the note may have been a way for you to let off some of the stress you are feeling, sort of like going outside and screaming or licking somethinmg around the room .
You need to have a talk with your parents or school counsellor (or preist,adult family friend, aunt, uncle, granny) so that something can be done to reduce the stress you are feeling.

I dont think myself that you are seriously suicidal , but you need to deal with your problems before they get too out of control.
Your parents response may surprise you , even if they are the source of some stress they dont want to see you unhappy and considering suicide at all.
Show them the note you wrote, it will let them see its a serious problem for you .

Listen, NONTHING is worth KILLING yourself. GOD takes care of everything in his own time. Believe me I tried it a few years ago and now i realize how stupid it was. When we do that it means others win because they got to us!!! If you need help please ask me! I will do anything to help you through this!
