A lot of people believe in the paranormal. I think the big difference is when you're out of touch with reality and unable to function day to day, working etc.

Not specifically for paranormal things, but I have been put in the mental hospital numerous times. At one point my words were a complete mish-mash of thoughts. Absolute non-sense. They will give you drugs, send you to talk with people one on one and in groups, and if you're lucky, you'll get arts and craft time. =)
