Why do people get depressed?!

Question: Can you get depressed simply by having bad living habits (like sleeping and eating)? Can you get depressed and be completely different over the period of one day, but for no reason other than you haven't been treating your body right?

Until before last friday, I was very happy and contented with everything in my life.. but after that day, I have been anxious, depressed, and very fatigued every day this week. Is this normal, or does depression usually stem from something bad happening in your life?

I feel like I lost everything, and it feels like I might not get it back.

Depression has much to do with the build ups of toxins from food/water sources. Unfortunately, our regular grocer foods are laced with antibiotics, hormones, chemicals of all sorts used for flavoring, coloring, & preserving, as well as infected animals of a multitude of varieties. Our water treatment plants have been monitoring the numbers & amounts of prescription meds, street drugs, and the chemical conglomerates of these plus others that are not filtered properly or inexpensively as of yet.

Don't think these wreak a bit of havoc on the ol' human bod??? Guess again!!! They are non-organics that are not recognized at this stage of our evolution, since most of these have been created within the past 60 years...ergo, what's a body to do with this stuff??? It simply isn't yet programmed to rid itself of these waste materials, sooo it stores them until it finds a good exit route at some point in time. Usually, most of this stuff is stored in fats about the body, however, heavy metals, chem compounds & the most noxious of by-products are stored where the body will not feed from it...like cartilages in the back & joints, oft times near the bases of the brain & back...remember health class??? What runs through your back bone??? Right, the food of brain life...spinal fluid!!!

Okay, so you have probably engaged the come-on sense by now to see how we are horrendously effected...we become what we ingest. When our bods are fuelled well, used well, it has the uncanny ability to maintain & repair itself in wellness...our brains, however, can over-ride & confuse their vehicles, esp. when sensors are blocked by garbage. Ooooh, enter all sorts of dis-eases, dis-orders, & dis-arrays of functionabilities. But aren't sick people feeding our economy sooo well??? The AMA is happy to have a never ending flow of bucks, the FDA gets a happy cut of that, the pharmaceutical industry employs hundreds of thousands, and people are easily managed when kept at bay & on chill-out drugs...it's all good, and the merry list goes much further than that.

Sooo, my suggest...get a contractor's garbage bag (or 2, or 3), open the pantry & fridge doors, and procede to empty them...everything that contains artificial anythings, esp. sweeteners, colors, & preservatives...anything you cannot read or look up in a regular dictionary doesn't belong in your mouth...and any animal product that has been raised on growth hormones & pumped up with meds, treated with nitrites or sulfites/sulfates. This will not leave you much more that perhaps a box of cereal, if you choose good ones, and possibly pasta out the yin yang, maybe a few frozen boxes of veggies...but now you know better, so you are not wasting food, you are throwing away garbage packaged as food...so don't feel guilty...your body cells are jumping for joy (LOL).

Don't stop there...check out your cosmetics & hygiene products next...your skin makes you a walking sponge and most regular products (even the most expensive sorts) are toxic chem mixtures you are smearing on yourself daily.

Okay, you're on a roll...now get into the under-the-sink cabinet & laundry room...OSHA would have fits about our home chemicals if they were to be considered workplaces...most of the stuff we use everyday to clean & smell up our spaces would not be allowed to be handled in a workplace without full-body gear & respirators!!!

Sooo, here we are, these lovely organisms amidst a chemicalized environment, which it has only been exposed to for a short period of time...no wonder we are the most unhealthful species on this planet...

There are two kinds of folks in this world, Sweetness...those with brains, and those with brain that use them!!! So far corporate world has been using theirs to make mega bucks off of us...bout time to turn the tables, yes??? Knowledge is power...I highly suggest getting some about your bod, your food sources & label reading...then pass it on to those you love.

Good Journey!!!

Most depression don't come on over night unless there's something to cause it like a death, or an attack. True depression last more than two weeks and needs medical intervention to over come. I'm not saying that medication is needed in every instance but usually talk therapy is if things are going to be resolved. Talk therapy does not have to be something that involves years and years it can be for a few months or one or two years. If you're still feeling depressed in another few weeks than you might want to think about talking to some one. On the other hand you might just be going through a rough period right now and just not know the trigger.
You might be able to figure out what happened if you give it a little thought.

chemical inbalance

Well, isn't that the million dollar question?

Maybe you have a chemical imbalence.

Maybe you are having moodswings.I think people start getting depressed when they get bored because they have absolutely nothing to do.Or they feel forgotten or lonely.

depression can come suddenly and for no real reason.
however, its most likely that you just need to eat and sleep regularly. make sure you get your full hours of sleep and don't let tests,or anything else get you too stressed. you will probably get back to your normal self if you just relax a little more.
