Do I have obsessive-compulsive disorder? Just tell me if I have serious issues. !

Question: OK. Embarrassing memories STICK in my head and I feel nauseous every time I think of them. I practice the piano hours and hours just to keep away from those memories. I'm very antisocial and I hardly every come out of my room.

I psychoanalyze EVERYBODY and when I talk to them, they simply have no idea what the heck I'm talking about because they have already forgotten those memories, but I seem to be stuck to them.

PLEASE, help!

As someone thats recovered almost 100% (dont think will ever be 100) from OCD, i can tell you that this does NOT sound like OCD, UNLESS you are playing the piano to get rid of negative thoughts, or because you feel like bad things will happen if you do not to you, your family, friends things like that.

If you are saying to yourself "if i do not play the piano 3 times then X will happen - then yes , this is indicative of OCD.

This sounds more like social anxiety disorder to me, and self esteem issues.

Just do something good for yourself~~~~ talk to your doctor, counselor, and hopefully a therapist....

Someone who has knowledge and can direct you to the proper person who can work with you to get you past this spot in your life. It will only get worse.

It sounds like you have anxiety disorder and also like you need to stop worrying so much about what other people think of you. Everyone messes up and gets embarrased. You just have to learn to laugh at yourself and not make a big deal out of it. Hope you can start letting go of things.

You sound very anxious, and insecure. Why do you think that is? Get to the core of the problem, with a good therapist that you LIKE to talk to.

no becuase some of my memories follow me every were good and bad ones and they always will so at some point you have to deal and face them

just do something that you think is good for you
