Anyone else feel stuck between paths?!

Question: Standing atop a mountain, surrounded by snowy alp's. Between the snow, dark rocky ground that has been there since the beginning of time. In the distance a glimpse of sun before the clouds hide it away again. Clouds that surround the peaks of all the high points the earth can muster to create.

Standing at the edge feeling like balancing on the edge of a knife, a decision needing to be made from which their can be no return. Glancing back at the tracks in the snow made from the journey up. Always climbing, climbing up from the abyss, the darkness below. The wind picks up and blows away the clouds allowing some moments of clarity ahead. Lying in front is nothingness, a great drop from which there can be no return. Behind lies the path down the mountain to the abyss.

An eagle flies past catching the eye, showing a third possibility, a new direction previously unseen, or else deliberately not noticed.

Caught between nothingness and darkness
a hopeless despair would sweep the bravest
the eagle soars overhead, a new direction is brought to bear

Caught between nothingness and darkness
and now a third direction
are you brave enough to aim to soar as the eagle
are you afraid you'll fall

Faced with a decision
to return to the familiar darkness and nothingness
to return to the familiar hopelessness and despair
or to dare to dream anew
of soaring to the highest heavens as the eagle

A life lived in fear really isn't worth living
a life lived in darkness a sham and a sin
dare to dream, dare to love, dare to take a leap...

this may help decide on a direction :

I say if the familiar isn't working then try the unknown!

You have been through a lot. It is time for a change. But we don't need to fly or become a pioneers. Well we just cant. Try this. Get one new friend and stay away from the people in your life for a while to get a fresh opinion of you. It will help you see a new way of looking at the old friends and family. It will let you accept that you are an outsider in life. Start small start smart.

Baby girl don't be afraid, have no fears. If the path leads to something positive & challenging, go for it. Living your life in a box, following convention won't get you anywhere. Have an open mind, travel, read, explore different cultures & get away from nay-sayers. Find that new direction & you won't be a 'lost soul' anymore. Big hug baby, go for yours !
