What can people tell me about eating while sleeping?!

Question: Occasionally I guess I sleep-eat. No memory of it, but food everywhere. It used to freak out my old roommates because they said I would converse with them. The next day, my stomach is very sick.
Does this happen to others? Why does this happen?

Here's an article about sleep eating.

Also if you take Ambien, there are stories of people doing things like driving, cooking, and painting while asleep because of the drug.

Are you taking sleeping meds? This is actually a very dangerous thing because the part of your brain that shuts your body movements down is not kicking in. You should talk to your Dr about this because some people ahve been known to hurt themselves or others due to acting out dreams.

You should research sleepwalking as it is very related. I once took a whiz on my computer keyboard thinking it was the toilet. Try explaining that one to um....well anyone.

I have read also, that the same phenomena is used to explain some peoples belief that they have been abducted by aliens.

omg..that's really weird. Never heard of it before...go talk to your doctors and ask him/her how to quit!

I'm sure it's not healthy to sleep eat

it is really becoming a problem lock up the cupboards and fridge i know it sounds extreme but if ur not willing to go to a dr to see why then your going to ahve to do sometihng i take ambien and sleep eat and gained 7lbs
good luck
