I'm sorry you are going through such a rough time. I have been where you are and it is not fun. I eventually saw my doctor and took some time off work and it was really helpful. My doctor put me on Wellbutrin, which never entirely did the trick but did help. Then, she added Cipralex (as well as the Wellbutrin) and that has really helped me out. Don't be fearful or ashamed to turn to the doctor for help. Depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain, which is something that is not your fault. As for vitamins, my doctor also told me to take large doses of Omega 3 fatty acids daily, which is available in a vitamin pill form over-the-counter. She also recommended walking for 30 minutes each day, briskly, to release your body's natural endorphins. Good luck to you.

Cymbalta

You need to get a grip and grow up. If you are tired and feeling sad all the time, that is not good. Eat a healthy diet. Drink lots of water. Exercise daily even if it is a brisk walk. Get plenty of sleep.Your boyfriend will love you more for taking care of yourself and you will definitely be in a better place.

Peace.

It would be very helpful to you to contact your family physician. Depression is such a DOWNER. Try to dwell on the positive aspects of things. Like that you'll soon be with your guy. It would be good to focus on the things you need to get done in order to do all you can to make the time pass more quickly for you. I have struggled with depression. Dwell on that which is good.

I was depressed for years and took lots of different medications to fix the problem most didn't help. What helped me was to think of what is worse, Getting up and doing what needs to be done or putting it off. By putting it off you are really going to be worse. Ex. getting bad grades or failing. Loosing your man.
Just start by thinking about how much better your life will be each day because you did what needed to be done instead of what was easier. Make a point to recognize what is right with your life.
Your man, your career, your health, ect.
most of the other stuff falls into place.

I'm not a doctor but I suffer from depression and so does my 18 year old son. After visiting my general Dr. he prescribed Prozac for me and I've never had a bad thought again.
My son was just recently diagnosed so we are trying different types of meds. Prozac didn't work for him, but Wellbutrin does. Please don't think that you are an anomaly because you're not. You just need a little push to go to the doctor's. I think you'll be surprised how much they really can help you. Please do it before college though. If you think high school is stressful, wait until you get to college! Please do it now, so any meds you do take have a chance to kick in.

You could very well be depressed. Now days honey, it's very easily diagnosed and treated. I take Prozac myself. Please see your doctor, or maybe the school nurse can direct you to student aide. If you are offered counseling or therapy along with any medication......take it!
Good luck to you and I'll say a little prayer.
