How much will my mother get on disability?!

Question: Ok here's the deal, my mother hasnt been able to work in the last probly 6 years, actually longer, she is 59 years old and lives with my sister and her kids and my brother, (full house I know) She applied for disability about a year and a half ago and went thru the stress test, she can barely walk down the block and stairs are out of the question. She has CHF and very high blood pressure. She's also been told she has failing kidneys. She drinks and smokes a lot of the time. But she recently went to court for this and she just got a letter asking if she was willing to go back to 2004 instead of 2005 for backpay of disability. How much approximately will she get in pay if they do it all in one lump sum? She's looking to get a place of her own, however small and try to get out of my sisters house. She used to get paid by the state to take care of her grandkids but cannot do that anymore. I pray she gets enough to get on with her life and live again. Any help would be great.

I work as a carer, and each of my clients with disability has different benefits, according to their health assessment, needs, living condition... So, but experience, only the office who is dealing with your mother's payment will know once they put all info into account.
I know that is not what you wanted to know, but as per experience, you have to wait and see.

Not everyone gets paid the same amount of money. It depends on how much you made. They should tell her what she would get.
