to me happiness means being with your family and having a great time! but then again, everyone has a different opinion. so i think you shouldn't be asking a couple of strangers and ask yourself what the meaning of happiness is to you.

To know that you always can learn something new.

A feeling or emotion of calmness and being at peace with our surroundings and our place in life. Not having to worry about some-one or some thing, knowing that all is well and not being on edge for any paticular reason.

I heard this saying not so long ago and I think it sums up this question -- 'Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have'...

One of the states of Mind!:) Hope this Helps!!

i wish i knew

Look it up.

When you start asking what happiness is you're not happy. When you're happy, there's no need to ask the question.

When I feel present in the moment, at ease with my surroundings, at peace in my heart I sort of call this happiness. Its like floating. It used to be a permanent state when I was younger, then I lost it completely at some point, and now I'm getting it back again slowly with tons of re-programming of my mind, to stop holding onto negative stuff and stop fearing for the future, and stop fearing period!!!.

the opposite to sad

happiness is what you make it.
