Dealing with anxiety/social phobia and jobs help?!
Question: I am currently going for a Pharmacy degree to become a Pharmacist but the more I get into it the more I have doubts. I am not good with the public because I have such horrible panic attacks in public situations and I have had a lot of people tell me that I am choosing the wrong profession. I have been in college for a good number of years and have switched degree plans quite a bit. I just really think I am headed in the wrong direction. As with everyone I need a job that has really good pay/benefits but I just do not think I can handle the public pressure. I work in a clinic now and it is all I can do to get through my day sometimes because of my fear. People just scare the heck out of me! No joke!! I need advice from someone going through this similar situation. Thank all of you!!

I too, have social phobia. I am currently not working right now cause I just had a baby and I am dreading the day I start looking for a job. I cannot do retail, cause I had bad panic attacks. Our job opertunities are so limited of what we can choose and it stinks. I am trying to get my online business started with my husband's help. That way I wont have to deal with the public and I get to stay home with my daughter.
If you really think you're on the wrong path, change direction. You will find your way, just keep your eyes open.
