GO and get an emergency prescription, you cant not take your tablets but try to remember in future to have a pack just incase this ever happens again

Contact your doctor via telephone, explain that you've run out, he should be able to call in a prescription, as you can't just stop taking your medication. You shouldn't have to go all the way to the doctor. I've had this happen a few times, I take fluoxetine for my OCD. I call my doctor and tell him and he phones the pharmacy and they give me enough to carry me until my next script can be filled.

Are you taking more than what is prescribed? You shouldn't be running out. This drug is addictive or it can be if used improperly.

Call your doctor. That's the best thing to do. Let your doctor decide what needs to happen. Most likely, he will write you a script. If there is a problem then your doctor needs to know.

Fluoxetine has a long half-life, so it won't be out of your system for a day or two. If you have to, you can go the 4 days.

how come you run out???? or did you not go bk to docs when you should of...
yes 4 days will make a difference your meant to take them everyday 4 the least 6mnth..
go to ure docs explain to them you should be able to get a prepscription befoe friday...

It is a shame that you waited until you ran out to think about what to do. Your doctor might be able to help you out. He/she may not be happy about you waiting to run out before you did anything.
In the future plan ahead of time with your prescriptions. This is one way of taking responsibility for ourselves.
