DON'T GIVE UP.
Just keep searching til you find a doctor or other proffesional that takes you seriously and is willing to help.
If you are having extreme emotions with no 'middle ground' it's likely you have some form of depression still. (i'm guessing that's what your meds were for?)
My meds aren't helping either after more than 4 months.
What works for me, even short term, is going for a walk, even just saying hi to someone in the street, keeping busy around the house, and phoning just to hear someone elses voice.

Find something you enjoy (hard though this may be) and go out and do it.
It's no quick fix, but in time it should help you focus your thoughts away from the distress you feel right now.

And don't forget to congratulate yourself on every achievement, no matter how small. I write down everything i achieve and when i feel bad i look at it to remind myself how hard i'm trying. Maybe this will help for you too.

Good luck to you, and please take care of yourself.

i guess they can but you will need to control it if your mood swing are that bad

you need to get off that roller coaster i was there and I'm bi-polar and so are you with what your saying it sounds like me , 18 teen years ago , i went to see a psychiatrist and put on meds it feel great to not being on that roller coaster, i got off thank-god now please go make appointment as asp, you have a chemical in balance

Thanks for asking a serious question.

Without seeing a doctor, huh...
Well, suicidal thoughts mean we've tried everything ourselves, to no avail.
Have you tried prayer?
Sometimes, we need to believe in a higher power.
Someone that can get us out of scrapes. Help or guide us as to what to do. My higher power is Jesus and God, my Father in Heaven. When I prayed on the subject, I came to a conclusion one time, that sometimes God tells us we do need a little medication. If you have done everything you possibly can, then pray and ask God for an answer. I will pray for you too, that you may hear His answer.

Good luck and God bless.

This sounds serious, if the meds are working then you really need to see a doctor about a change in medication.
Every state has a Suicide watch phone number, please find out and have it close by you at all times. You need to talk with someone that can help you.
Suicide is never the answer, and the only ones you will hurt are your friends that know you.
Are you Bi-polar? This is usually a shifting patterns of moods swings. Unfortnately, at the times you do need to take the medication your mood says you don't need them, etc. Good luck, we are hear to listen to you.

if you don't want to seek help..i don't think anyone can help you....as for suicide...do you realize what that does to everyone you will leave behind should you decide to do this...trust me i know the hurt and pain...my son-in-law did this 3 years ago...alot of us are still hurting from his actions...specially his wife and kids......get the help you need...they can help you but you have to find the help....

Mood disorders are a results of some simple put unbalances chemical or impulses in the brain,You will need chemical to balance them back.If you are bipolar you have two moods go back and forth, that is enough to drive anybody crazy, but remember you can not do it by yourself you have 2 types of problems first OCD you can try 5-htp with is serotonin with inositol with b complex or stress vitamins,BUT ALWAYS TALK TO A DOCTOR FIRST YOU can not use herbal /supplement with medication.PLEASE try again sometimes it takes a minute to find out what medication is exactly right,PLEASE keep trying there is no way to regulate herbal supplement. Also try exercising during your up mood for about 45 minutes cardio, during your down mood relax and read the bible it is so relaxing.I would recommend doctor and medication, but if you refuse herbs i guess is the only other option, sorry right now it is not a good option, but maybe when you are stable you may be able to start a herbal regime..i hope this info helps.SUICIDE IS NOT A OPTION,I WILL PRAY FOR YOU.
