Can pedophilia be aggrivated (enhanced) by a brain tumor?!

Question: A friend of mine says that she's "totally obsessed" with a minor. She has been having some issues lately with fainting, bloody noses, and light headedness. Now she thinks she has a brain tumor, and is blaming the potential tumor on her infatuation with a much younger guy.

Do you think that her concerns are founded, or completely absurd?

There was something similar on an episode of Law and Order, wasn't there? I'm not sure but tumors of the frontal lobe can cause aberrant behavior, although this sounds more like an obsession with totally unrelated physical symptoms. The only way to tell is with an MRI, so your friend, if concerned, should approach her doctor about getting this test.

Completely absurd.

Interesting that YOU are the budding pedophile:

I hate you

Your friend sounds like she is out in left field. She should see some sort of therapist for her pedo problem ,and a medical Dr for the other. There is no valid reason to be pedo. If you know the child you should tell the parents!!!

hells to the ******* no, pedophiles are disturbed in the brain, is all mostly cause of the way they grew up, or the something happened in their childhood.

Dr V, thanks for revealing the truth about this woman!

You are a pedophile and just because you are a woman doesn't make it okay. If you have any sexual contact with that boy you are commiting abuse and should be punished as any other child molester.

Stay away from the boy, see a Dr. about your physical symptoms and get into therapy!

No it cannot. Paedophiles are scum and should be shot.

Ew. What's wrong with you? He's 15. Can't you find someone who isn't in the 10th grade? Your "concerns" aren't founded whatsoever, you're just a very mentally ill person who is in denial without realization that what you want/think is WRONG. Go get some help.
