Answers: all mental illness be cured with meds why is it nowadays so much mental illnesses than back in the days where i know there was much more stress than today

There is about the same amount of stress for the average person today as there was "back in the day". It's just that we worry about different things. Less about where to get our next meal from and more about how the stock market will effect our retirement fund.

In any case, most mental disorders aren't really connected with stress. Yes, stress can aggravate or trigger a condition, but it isn't the root cause of most disorders. We aren't really sure what the actual cause of mental disease is, but genetic predisposition seems to play a major role.

As of this moment, there is not one single "cure" for any mental disease. There are many very effective treatments for some of them, but no technique or drug yet invented can make schizophrenia go away with a permanent gaurantee, for example.

Maybe someday, as we advance oru understanding of how the brain works, we will be able to fix it with the same skill we can fix the rest of the body, but not today, and probably not for a good many tommorrows.

It's perhaps better to say that mental health problems can be controlled or moderated rather than cured outright.
Perhaps there seems to be more mental illness about today than previously because nowadays it is less taboo to talk about it in public.

i don't think you can compare modern day stressors to previous stessors,
i think many more people are coming forward with any mental health issues these days and also mental illness is controlled, not cured

All mental illness can't be cured with medications, some of them might never be cured, but stabilized there's a big difference. As for there being more mental illness now rather than 50+ years ago?? Are you sure??? Is there more mental illness now than than than or is it better diagnosed now rather than than??? What we call depression and know can be treated people used to call Melancholia and they thought that if you just wanted to feel better you could. People who were Bi-polar were considered extremely moody and temperamental. People with schizophrenia were thought of as extremely eccentric and basically left to themselves. So what's the real reason that there's more mental illness??? A real increase or better diagnosises???

Here's an interesting thought...If you are rich and come from a "good" family and live in a affluent area you are defined as being a bit eccentric...if you come from the other side of town you are defined as crazy, mad and bad...

Mental illness is made up to drug people with drugs that are no different then taking meth or other illegal drug out there. most mental illness is made up.

i think crazy people are people who ache for attention
