If you think you are bi-polar then you must already know the signs otherwise how could you begin to diagnose yourself?

I suggest you talk to a doctor and tell them your concerns and let them give a professional opinion.

Also you can always do a google on Bi-Polar and that will give you loads more information.

If you dont know the symptoms, how would you know you have it?????

Excessive happiness, hopefulness, and excitement
Sudden changes from being joyful to being irritable, angry, and hostile
Restlessness, increased energy and less need for sleep
Rapid talk, talkativeness
Distractibility
Racing thoughts
High sex drive
Tendency to make grand and unattainable plans
Tendency to show poor judgment, such as deciding to quit a job
Inflated self-esteem or grandiosity -- unrealistic beliefs in one's ability, intelligence, and powers; may be delusional
Increased reckless behaviors (such as lavish spending sprees, impulsive sexual indiscretions, abuse of alcohol or drugs or ill-advised business decisions)

Bipolar disorder involves periods of elevated mood, or mania, alternating with periods of depression. A person with bipolar disorder typically cycles between these two extremes, often with periods of normal mood in between. The pattern of symptoms differs from person.

Some people are more prone to either mania or depression, while others experience equal numbers of manic and depressive episodes. The frequency and duration of the mood episodes also varies widely. While a few individuals experience only one or two periods of mood disruption, most people with bipolar disorder suffer from multiple, recurring manic and depressive episodes.

There are four types of mood episodes that can occur in bipolar disorder: mania, hypomania, depression, or a mixed episode.

trust me, if you were bipoler, you would know it. any theorpist with a degree can slap you with bipoler, just like depression. there are no signs to bipoler, so you either are or arn't, bipoler people go but with energy for a week or so saying they will paint a masterpiece and then fall into a deep depreshion the next week. even if you are a little like that, you still don't have bipoler, cause bipoler is extream actions, not little ones.
