i'm on it right now, it had to be increased a few times, but now I feel much better. about 2 weeks after starting it I felt less irritable/moody/bit more energy, then after about 8 weeks felt quite a bit better, now it's been about 16 weeks and feel very good. however, not every antidepressant-anti anxiety drug works the same for everyone, so good luck, things do get better, just stick with it and keep seeing your doc.
i've tried many ad's and none of them worked for me, effexor xr being one of them. changing my thinking and living in the present does though..
Yep, nope. It was 'inefexor" for me. Cymbalta was after that and seemed to help the best. Every body has its' own chemistry of course AND interact differently with the meds you are already taking. The listed side effects can be horrendous. Weight gain, anxiety, nervousness for some......the precise things we are trying to avoid, niiiiiice.
