How come your brain can get confused with certain words?!

Question: Well, This happens sometimes to me, If i stare at a word enough, or repeat it over and over enough, My brain will forget the words meaning, it will look strange to me, sound strange to me. This only happens with words that hold great meaning to me, like before all of this I could say, and think the words, and become real happy from them. Now it's just as if they seem strange to me.

From the sound of it, you seem to be in a stage of "Waiting" for something to happen. You said that it only happens with words that hold "Great" meaning, words that made you happy from hearing, speaking, and thinking about them. Your problem is that you are waiting for the "Happiness" to come out. The key is to get happy when you hear, see, and think about these words, etc! You cannot expect happiness to come out of nothing, you have to create it!

I think you "HIT THE" nail on my head.... Report It

  • Wow, my navel looks funny.....................

I have no "real' answer to this... but sometimes when I say a word a few times it starts to sound funny like its not a word anymore.. or when someone asks me to spell a word and they spell it wrong, then i just cant remember how to the spell the word for like a few days.. I dont know.. its weird. I think its just our brain playing tricks on us.

Your left and right brain are always fighting for control over the other side. That is why our mind can play tricks on us. While one part of our brain holds the information on how to read the word, another part of our brain holds the memory of the meaning for the word, and another part of our brain may link with a paersonal experience with that word. When forced on your brain over and over the mind can become confused with the word. I recently read a sign at Ripley's that had a bunch of words that spelled out colors, but the color it spelled out was not the color it was printed in, and so your mind wants to say the color it is written in, instead of the color that is actually spelled out, kinda confusing I know. Sorry.

There is nothing strange in it, many people experience it, its a momentary phase it will pass on. I had a problem, I used to forget the simplest of the spelling while appearing a exam or seem to confuse how to write certain alphabet of my mother tongue.

I just think you're second guessing yourself. One day I was writing out flash cards for kindergardeners, I had to write each month 28 times in a row, and by the end I swore I was spelling each word wrong when I wasn't. I really don't know why this happens.

Try this . With your right foot roll it in a clockwise motion, keep doing this and then with your right hand and draw the figure 6 in the air, now what does your foot do when trying to draw the figure 6 ?

sometimes didn't understand what going about or maybe is to hard to know or interesting.
