One can become genuinely addicted to porn, but I don't know if that counts as a mental problem

Not necessarily mental problems, but it can lead to addiction and a person can become more engrossed in that than in getting into relationships with real people and end up lonely.

I think porn is okay as long as you don't start to expect EVERY women (dating wise) to look and act like the characters in such magazine layouts and movies do... cause a woman who knows that they are denied because of that reason COULD cause them to have some type of mental consequence in them selves.

It can definitely cause relational problems and stress -- which is cause of many relational factors of distrust, anger, shame. It gets some people fired from their jobs. It can consume your thoughts and change your behavior.
It causes changes of attitudes and of desires that are destructive to yourself and the woman in your relationship.
It can cause you to treat others as if they are of little or no value. It can draw your mind away from what is good and honest and true and right there in your arms. It can make you into a person she does not believe or trust because your mind is filled with the porn. Your mind becomes perverted, and your attitudes seep out to your sons and daughters, causing them problems in how they view their own bodies. It's attitudes like these that cause young girls to become anorexic because that's the kind of body Daddy would approve of, so the boys out there must be like daddy.
Porn causes the man to disregard the person inside and to focus his thoughts only "skin deep".
And, porn causes him to think only of himself and his own desires, not caring or even knowing he is discounting the person and body in his own bed.
Now -- I would call those mental problems.
