Those with Clinical Depression?!
Question: I recently found out I suffer from clinical depression. For those of you who suffer from clinical depression, or those of you who know someone who suffers, what good effects does the medication prescribed for this illness have on you. Also how long does the treatment take before a difference can be seen. What aspects of my life will change due to the treatment. Will I feel happier, more energetic, become more sociable and do away with my hot temper. Due to the depression I am not very sociable and often feel sad for no apparent reason. Is their any advice you could give. Thanks

I too am going through depression. I've been on meds for over two years. A few months ago I started going to a group counseling center. It helps. Structure your time. Push yourself a little harder. "Recovery is a complex, time consuming, and sometimes painful experience"
"THAT WHICH DOES NOT KILL ME MAKES ME STRONGER" I tell myself that everyday.
