Is anyone on generic Adderall for adult ADHD?!

Question: If you are an ADULT on GENERIC Adderall (aka amphetamine salts) for ADD or ADHD, I would like to ask you the following questions:

1) What dosage are you on?
2) How often do you take it (how many times per day)?
3) When in the day do you take it?
4) What is the EXACT name of your scrip? aka is it dextroamphetamine, amphetamine salts, etc.

Thank you!

I take Adderall XR 30mg and looked into switching to a generic. What I found is that Adderall XR has a contract that prohibits the making of a generic form until 2018. If there are any lawsuits or deaths from Adderall XR, it could take even longer for a generic version (I don't completely understand why). One site suggested getting Adderall which is not time released, breaking it in half, take one side in the morning and one around 1 to have the same effect and it has the same effect as Adderall XR but is much cheaper.

I hope this helps!

there aren't genetics medications for adderall, concerta, ritalin, etc. it's a controlled substance...so therefore, there aren't any generics...
