Should I quit my job?!

Question: I love my job, but right now I am kind of going through a depression and I feel like I just need time to get back to myself. I also do full time school so it is hard enough as it is doing school and work. But I think I should take a leave of absence of work because my boss would be sad if I quit, she has told me so. should I take a leave of absence until I get my life straightened out or should I just quit?

If you are feeling overwhelmed, you may want to consider going for some counseling to become more in control.

If your boss will allow you to take a leave of absence, do so, as long as you are financially able to do so, you do not want financial worries to add to your stress and depression.

Don't quit, unless you absolutely have to. It will be good for you to have a job waiting for you to go back to once you are feeling better. It is important when anyone is depressed, for them to keep as much positive in their life as possible, and this job sounds like it is a good experience for you.

I will say a prayer for your returning health and healing.

Everyone struggles with depression at one time or another in their life, you are not alone.

do you have money to support yourself if you left? I feel that way all the time but then i realize i have good days and bad days and just keep moving on.

Take a leave of absence and then when you have rested, you can decide if you want to go back to work.

I QUIT, IT WASN'T THE BRIGHTEST THING I EVER DID,NOW I AM BROKE,BEHIND ON BY BILLS,AND AM GOING TO HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER JOB,BY THE WAY I'M NOT RESTED UP AFTER A MONTH OF ALMOST COMPLETE BED REST.IF I COULD DO IT OVER I WOULD PROBABLY GO YO A SHRINK AND GET SOME HAPPY PILLS.THAT IS WHAT EVERY ONE ELSE DOES.IT SEEMS TO WORK.

if you are able to afford it and you are financially able to do it take a leave of absence due to medical reasons or resign due to medical reasons. it's easy to feel overwhelmed but if you have no cash flow, you'll feel even worse.
