Question: We had been together 10 years then all of a sudden he moved her into his house.
Told me lies as to why she was there ie: was going to be homeless, got kicked out of apartment, was just a friend etc.
She got a DWI-2, lost license, totaled car drunk, on drugs while arrested, and put on 3 years probation. She died at his house last year in June. She had been put into mental institutions previously.
He's stayed in touch with me since, and lots of drama. Wanted to come over at Christmas. I said NO!
I told him to go get mental help for himself. He refused.
What sort of diagnosis would you give him mentally speaking?
I'm 55, he's 61 if you can believe that!

I think he is a poor judgment of character. That is about it. He made his bed, he gets to lay in it. Do not let him drag you down though .

Who cares the guys a prick! If I had to guess I would say he was going through his mid life crises! Be thankful that you didn't waste anothe minutes on the *** wipe! Those type of people will just tear down your life. I mean you're still young so live life. Now you can find a better man! I'm sorry you had to go through that.
Why are you assuming he has a mental illness?
He sounds like a jerk.
People with mental illness can still have loving relationships and be decent people. His irresponsible behaviour cannot be excused due to a mental illness.
Forget about this guy. Kick him to the kerb.
