What is the difference between being CRAZY and INSANE?!

Crazy: YOU think you are
Insane: EVERYONE ELSE thinks you are
I think someone who is crazy can be like fun and happy at the same time. You like to be around them even though they are zany. Someone who's insane is just scary and unstable.
Insane people think every one else is insane.
Crazy people will admit they are crazy. Also,they are not the same,it can be fun to be a little crazy,but scary as hell to be around an insane person.Which do you fit?
Crazy = One who is or appears insane
Insane = Persistent mental disorder

Well i know i am a little crazy and a bit bonkers. But everyone just says it is sweet eccentricities and baffling behaviour.
I am an ADHD sufferer so that gives me my excuse -- I'm special. :-)
But i would never in a million years even think of insanity, even some sick people i know are not insane. It is a strong word that gets misused.
Also it depends on where your from. People throw different names around in the English speaking world.
"Crazy" is more of a street word......you may be out of this world yet cool to your peers, on the contrary "Insane" is more inclined to a serious medical condition....insanity......the word "insanity" is taken seriously in English speaking societies....used as a term legally ---is acquitted on grounds of "insanity"---{psychiatry proven mental disability}........"insanity" may also be used jokingly, but to imply something negative!!!!
Therefore 'tis better to be ''crazy" than "insane"!!!!
The health care community does not use these words, not because they have stigmas attached to them, but because the terms really don't help define anything.
I'm a little of both, so I can tell you,-Crazy, is harmless, like if a person yells out something inappropriate, that's crazy. Insane,- is when you believe doing something that is wrong to society, is right for you, like hurting other people.
