Does Anyone Have This Fear?!
Question: I have a fear of things that are or have been under water/touched the ocean floor (i.e. underwater mines, sunken ships, bottom of floating ships, rocks, anchors). It really frightens me. Does anyone else have this fear? Even seeing a picture of whatever it is scares me. If I ever touch something that has been underwater/touched the ocean floor, I start to cry. One time I was at a museum, and there was a mine, and I touched it, and then read what it was, and it had been underwater, and I cried. I was only 12 at the time.

I have a similar situation with little girls, whenever I see one, I feel like crying, and yes I'm even a little afraid of them. But for you, you may associate being under water with death, I mean like a shipwreck, seeing a picture of a sunken ship might make you think of the crew that died with it. Being at the bottom of the ocean, may actually be like death, it's dark, lonely, cold, and usually people who go down that far never come back up. Have you had a relative who has died drowning, or in a shipwreck? For me, I cry around little girls because as a kid, I got teased alot by little girls, so now when I see one, I associate them with sadness, and hurt.

it's probably just a phobia my sister has a phobia of flys she was laying in bed and a dead fly landed on her face she screamed for like a half an hour.
