Feel as though my life has been effectively ruined, what can i do now ?!

Question: amy winehouse was just recentley refused a u.s visa, and i feel the powers that be have sent out a clear message to me to.....that the same will happen to me......that because of my unfortunate past and mistakes, i could never have a fresh start and move to australia, canada or the u.s.

and these were my long term goals to....to have a fresh start....to move from england.

my unfortunate past is i have never been employed, have never gained any qualifications...never lived...never studied....never had a girlfriend..never made no friends....i have suffered greatly in my life......iam now 30 with borderline personality disorder....i have a minor criminal record to.....i have NOTHING to show for my life so far..

ive had a rage and aggression problem for half my life stemming from prolonged bullying....which ive improved with...i no longer have aggressive outbursts.

but it doesnt make any difference...i feel labelled, tarnished, defamed, stigmatized by society..

You worry me. You sound suicidal...

To make a new, fresh start you have to start somewhere and that starting point needs to be feasible / do-able / realistic.
So decide on a plan of action.
Get enlisted at a college?
Meet new friends and get qualified.
That'll go a long way to help.
There's nothing wrong with your spelling, so you're obviously keen on learning...
When you're on the right track, things WILL
come together for you. Just have some faith in that.

It's a big mistake to lump all your bad memories together.

You just need to forgive yourself- stop all the self-flagellation (beating yourself up for what happened to you when you had no control over your life)
(stop being so hard on yourself)
and take strength from the all the positives - you survived, so there's always hope for a better life, isn't there!?

Make your dreams smaller and you'll be successful.
God bless.

The world can be a snotty place sometimes, especially towards those of us who are "different". I would go for the visa anyway, think really positive thoughts that you will get through - you already know the worst that can happen, so why not try? Sounds like its been really tough for you. I wish you all the best and I hope that someone along the way will see you for the worthwhile person you are, and look past all the mistakes.
