I need YOUR help! WhY oH wHy?!?!?!
Question: i cant stand that people want to kill themsleves! every where i turn, someone is threating to kill his/her self! in my town, at my high school im surrounded by depression and sadness... One of my best friends said he was going to kill himself over a girl he hadnt even met or talked to!! of course he didnt do it... (we arent friends anymore) is their life that bad that they cant stand to wait for the Grace of God?! is their life that bad that they are willing to spend eternity in hell being tourted? or that they cant do something for themselves? It makes me SO sad! I need YOUR imput. tell me what you think! i NEED to know that im not the only one who thinks this is SO VERY wrong!

Tell them to live , be happy!God has created a great world for us !Even if they are your friends jsut report them to a teacher for trying to kill themselves LIFE is sooo Amazing!!!!dont let what people think of you get your feelings and mental health messed up it just matters what you think DONT CARE WHAT THEY THINK LOL!!!
i think a lot of them don't literally mean that they want to kill themselves. i think a lot of them say it for attention. i think a lot of them just say it out of anger. teenagers in highschool get dramatic and think its the end of the world when they can't get the girl or boy they want. its a very emotional time in someone's life. but i don't think most of them really mean it. u can tell if someone is seriously depressed or someone is just saying something for the hell of it.
Oh,my... what town you live in again? Doesn't sound like a good place for vacation,does it?
I'd say you really need to look for happy cheerful people to surround yourself. Form a group with something interesting and fun, talk to people in school and keep a positive attitude
sometimes is catchy and everyone around you will feel the same as you

i know what your saying ,,i answer a few tonight on here , about breakups and lost of jobs i pray for them and tell them to pray , god helps them whom helps there self,

I agree...it can be very annoying. They are doing this for attention. If someone is really depressed they won't outwardly say they are gonna do this...because for them it isn't about getting attention...its about how they feel mentally inside. Depression is a very sad thing. Maybe next time someone says that they are going to end their life, you can tell them to get help. A lot of times if they really are a danger to themselves the authorities will place them on a 72 hour hold ... I'm pretty sure that these attention getters wouldn't go for that.
I constantly feel like I could kill myself. Honestly the only thing keeping me from doing it it knowing how it would affect my family. I know that if my life doesn't change once my family is gone there would be nothing to stop me. To be honest nothing you say about God would make me change my mind. I grew up Pentecostal and they were very strict but I don't believe in it that much anymore. I think that's why so many people do feel like they could and do threaten to do it. They have nothing to believe in. It is a personal choice to take one's life. I cut myself, they way I look at it is I'm not hurting anyone else. And it's helping me not kill myself, let's me calm down long enough not to do anything to stupid. I know you're thinking 'but cutting is stupid', but I haven't learned another way to cope. I hope one day I do. I don't think you're alone in your thinking. I just happen to see both side of the argument.
Your definitely not the only one who thinks this is wrong. I don't think anything is worth killing yourself over. I wish people could only open there eyes to whats good in life instead of like focusing on whats bad. Just don't let them get you down try to be around people who love life and want to live it to the fullest. Being around people like that can only bring you into sadness.
i think that is sad. i used to be that way and if it were a few years ago, i almost had the courage to do it. but i didn't. i survived. just be there as a person these kids can talk to. don't be mean to them or anything. you were very rude when you answered bowwowbaby211's question. if you don't like what you're reading, then don't answer the question. unless you have real words of advice. i'm not going to waste time being mean to you cause i'm ticked off, i'm just going to voice my concern about it and leave it at that. everyone makes mistakes and everyone should be forgiven and they are. i personally don't think that just because someone commits suicide that they'll go to hell. God forgives everyone, no matter what! he loves all his children. but that does not make it right to kill yourself, because on the other hand, i don't believe a person has the right to take their own life. but if they do, they WILL be FORGIVEN. and they will stand with the rest of us on the day of Judgement. good luck and God bless, Danielle
