very slowly! Decreasing your medication should be done under the care of a physician. However, if he is giving you poor advice I would recommend reducing it by 10 mg every 2-3 days. If you have withdrawal symptoms slow down even further and continue to consult with your doctor.

With Trazadone, 25 mg is the lowest. I guess you can go down to 25 mg and than stop. 50 mg is a low dose.
