Yep, I used to be close friends with a girl who had hypochondria.

When I was a child I was somewhat of a hypochondriac. I wanted to be sick a lot of the time because I didn't want to go to school. It had a lot to do with the environment I grew up in I think. I've known a couple of other people through the years...one coworker who knows she's a horrible hypochondriac. All you have to do is tell her about the symptoms of some illness and she suddenly will relate to one or two of them and get all worried she has the illness. :) She's a great person though...a little kooky, but then aren't we all in one way or another?
I don't, and no one I know does.
