Which depression medications do not have sexual side effects?!
Question: Wellbutrin. It's the ONLY one. Some people say it actually increases their libido, but maybe that's just because they are less depressed.

I am told that cipralex has less sexual side effects.
I think they all have a possibility of that side effect, it just depends on the person.
I took Celexa.. horrible sexual side effects for me.. my sister took it and did just fine, no side effects at all
I was just reading that amino acids combined with magnesium can eliminate depression in around three to five weeks without side effects......try that and see if it works.....I had a person once tell me that an unhealthy brain cannot live in a healthy body.....maybe proper diet and exercise is the key....not to mention that the two also improve your labido.....good luck to you!!!
I've heard Wellbutrin but from experience I would say it had sexual side effects.
It would be best to discuss your concerns about loss of libido with your doctor. I think possibly Effexor has minimum sexual effects but I am not sure. Also, you can try looking this up doing a Google search.
all medication can effect your sex drive, especially antidepressants,anti seizures and stabilizers have the biggest "sexual side effect" basically because of those drugs balancing your brain chemicals. but lets put it this way,
once you get better, you will have your sex drive come back. all the medicine does it make it go away for a little while.
but instead of b itching about not wanting your sex drive to go away, how bout you care more about getting over your depression and becoming stable again? that's the most important thing, not sexual side effects.
People's reactions to medications and the side effects they experience are very individual things. I am on citalopram (most common brand name is cipramil) as part of a medicaton regime that includes tegretol and lamictal and truth be told, while I didn't have a high sex drive before I started the medication, I've lost all interest in sex as a side effect to the drug and become, as my boyfriend puts it, dead from the neck down.
I've taken several and never had sexual side effects. Each one affects each person differently. It's a possibility with any medication.
