LOCKED door PHOBIA?!

Question: i DON'T KNOW WHY BUT I HAVE BEEN HAVING THIS WEIRD FEAR OF LOCKED DOORS. If i am trying to get into a building and it is locked i immdetially walk in the other direction as fast as possible and i become really paraniod for a while. Like just a few minutes ago i was trying to use the bathroom, and when i went to open the door it was locked, and i just ran into my room and closed the door, now i feel very vulnerable..what is going on?

It would seem to be a fear of being separated and alone. This would apply whether you were locked in or locked out. It almost has the quality of being related to a traumatic event, but it could also be understood in a much broader sense. I think it sounds like you are afraid of being confined as well.
