I feel really depressed right now, and have for a few days?!


Question: i just feel like my life is in the pits right now. i have a hurt ankle, which effects my cheering, i just got hurt again today, i have an ugly rash on my face, another on my chest, i cant remember all the stuff i have to for chemistry, me and my boyfriend arent getting along the greatest right now, i feel like im ugly all the time, i feel like im fat... it goes on and on! i feel like i dont have control over my life anymore and it keeps going downhill.

what can i do to feel better? i keep trying to cheer myself up and then something else goes wrong. help please.

Go and see a counselour or talk to someone ( family member or someone you trust.) It's easier to talk about your problems then just hold them all inside. And the counselour/parent/ person you trust will probably have some insight on how to make things better.
Think positive thoughts and breathe deeply. Listen to music, read or take a long relaxing walk when things aren't going well and you need to just chill. Remember that things WILL get better EVENTUALLY. When you feel those flaws in self confidence just remind yourself that you are pretty and that you're NOT fat. Allow time to pass and soon you'll be your usual self again.

Aww.. I'm sorry ... try to talk to someone. Or go for a walk, paint, sing listen to music.

Well, exercise often lifts some of that anxiety and stress away. It's a better alternative to cookies and chocolate, and it lasts longer too. If you can't run because of your ankle, try lifting weights or doing crunches or something.

Also, talk to someone about your depression. We all have crappy days, but if you don't feel better soon, you may need to re-evaluate your life, and see whether you feel bad because your life needs to be re-invented, or whether your life is find and you're just psychologically stressed out. Both of those can be fixed.

Just kind of take some time to unwind and rest. You should feel better soon.

Well people have their ups and downs. You just have to bear through it and try to change the situation and make best of it.

So you're ankle hurts, so don't jump on it or anything just don't cheer for awhile and rest. If you keep persisting on burdening your ankle it may not heal as effectively.

A rash should go away relatively quick.

Pay attention in Chemistry, once you don't know something, you always build on what you know in Chem. So always ask questions and pay attention so you don't fall behind.

For your boyfriend, just communicate with him. Ask him what's wrong or if you know what s wrong then talk to him about it to get over it.

Don't worry about being fat, even if the scale says you're a certain weight, don't think that you're fat just because of a number. There are several factors that play a role into your weight, Your height most of all, your body structure, fat of course, muscle too, but muscle weighs more than fat and yeah that s about it.

every body gose through a lot of things in life. thats just life u can either go through it or just sit and cry about it. go to ur doctor about ur rashes and try to work things out with ur boy friend or move on with another guy! ur just going thruogh of many of life's up and downs, just pray to do the rigth and make the rigth decison at all times.

Things will get better. Something in your life is telling you to slow down right now, spend some time alone, relax...and if you're a cheerleader, I seriously doubt that you're fat! And ugly is a state of mind.

Slow down. There may be some great gift life has for you, that you need to slow down for. I don't know what, but when I've experienced these times in my life (and I have had lots more of them than you -- I'm probably three times your age) all the nasty crap happening to me turned out to be the wrapping-paper on a gift.

Be patient with yourself and with life -- you're worth it!

First lets get you to the Dr. to find out about the rash so you can get over that, and lets get your ankle better.

If you want the good endorphins from exercise but want to go easy on your ankle try swimming.

the world isn't against you... think positive... like this...

Failed chem test-- no problem... that means that you know what are your weaknesses and where you need to work on..you'll develop some techniques for studying for better memorization... ask questions about stuff you don't know... and on the next test, you are bound to pass the test...

hurt your ankle = more time with your mom or dad or siblings... you'll get to know them better by talking and maybe playing games and helping on things that does not require feet...

the rash.. the doctor has a magical cream that will turn you into beautiful Cinderella after it is applied and healed. your friends and family will still love you even if you grow a tail.

your boy friend? screw him... why not spend your time relaxing and doing what you love to do and not be weighted down and judged by him..

think positive... be positive...
maybe eat a chocolate... coz chocolate makes endorphins and endorphins makes happiness
