Too dependent on music?!

Question: I've never been like this, but now, I can only go so long before I NEED to listen to (my) music. I can't concentrate without it, I begin to lose my mind and not thinking straight if I don't get it.

I was at a party on Saturday, they were listening to the rap music, and I was fine. Then all of a sudden I had a huge craving for my dose of Bruce Springsteen. I had to step outside with my iPod to relax.

Is there anyway to break this? is it even that "unheathly"?

NO
you can NEVER be TOO dependent on music.

i have ADHD, and i need to play music to concenttrate on my homework. but then again....i play in a band (singer) so i guess i have to be really dependent on music haha.

but anyways...who cares, if ya can't stand the rap music too much...head outside and listen to your springsteen. (i met him once, it was one of the best days of my life.)

you can't be addicted to it. besides, if you scientists seriously have made it known as an addiction...then it's okay.
IT'S NOT UNHEALTHY.
you don't need to break it. music calms everyone.
hell, look into a degree in music. columbia college in chicago, il. is one of the best for music....

if ya need music to sleep, so be it. the more the better.
i'm always listen to music, (plus...i'm bipolar, and it really helps listening to metal when i'm pissed) and no one has ever been like "god can't you stop playing music??" to me...hell, i doubt a lot of people have never heard that.

just relax. it's normal. music saves lives. music promotes a better way to live by the lyrics and rythms. if it wasn't for classic, some metal, punk, indie, hardcore, and alt. bands....i would of ended my life years ago.

just keep rocking, seriously.
just relax, you're perfectly normal.

I don't see anything wrong with it. If I was being forced to listen to rap music that long at a party I would probably just leave.
